Dear SynBio Enthusiasts,

yesterday, the United Kingdom voted to leave the European Union.

As Chair of the European Association of Synthetic Biology Students and Postdocs, I would like to state that this outcome will not affect eligibility of UK citizens and UK-based scientists for Membership of our community.

Our definition of Europe is geographical in essence. EUSynBioS has been founded as an inclusive resource for interaction, exchange, and professional development, and will continue to serve this mission.
