Keynote speaker confirmed: Martin Pumera from UCT Prague

We would like to introduce one of Biomania’s keynote speakers - Martin Pumera from University of Chemistry and Technology, Prague!

Martin is the Director of the Center for Advanced Functional Nanorobots as well as a tenured professor at the University of Chemistry and Technology and ranked among the top 1% of most cited chemists of 2017 & 2018. Martin gained a decade of research experience as a tenured associate professor at the Nanyang Technological University in Singapore and his research interests are nanomaterials and microsystems including electrochemistry and synthetic chemistry of 2D nanomaterials, nanomachines, energy generation, environmental chemistry, and nanotoxicity.

He will be giving a talk on: Micro and Nanorobots: Autonomous Self-Powered Machines with Size between Viruses and Bacteria
