Join the European Synthetic Biology Society as a Instagram content creator!
Are you passionate about Synthetic Biology and want to get involved at the European community level? Are you interested in science communication? Join the European Synthetic Biology Society (EUSynBioS) and help us bringing Synthetic Biology and the work we do at EUSynBioS to a wider public!

EUSynBioS is a volunteering association that aims to promote and consolidate the field of Synthetic Biology within Europe. We welcome applications from individuals with diverse academic and professional backgrounds who are passionate about Synthetic Biology and want to make a difference. As Social media creator for Instagram, you will be part of the communications team and will report to all team leaders, as well as the chair and vice chair of the society.

What We Offer:

  • Access to a network of synthetic biologists and enthusiasts across Europe

  • Potential to get involved in other teams, such as Fundraising, Policy or Outreach

Role Requirements:

  • Commitment of 1-2 hours per week on average

  • Experience with social media and analytics, experience with Instagram preferred

  • Skills with Canva or Adobe for graphic design, social media management

  • SynBio network is a plus

Your Role and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with team leader and Communication team members to ensure alignment with EUSynBioS activities and goals

  • Create and curate engaging content for Instagram

  • Contact and network for featured content

  • Develop strategies to increase community engagement
