Are you passionate about Synthetic Biology and eager to engage with the European community? Join the European Synthetic Biology Society team and help us connect with synthetic biology enthusiasts across Europe!
We welcome applications from individuals with diverse academic and professional backgrounds who are passionate about Synthetic Biology and want to make a difference. As a Social Media Manager, you will be part of the Communications Team but will report to all team leaders, as well as the Chair and Vice Chair of the society. Your role will involve managing our presence on Instagram and LinkedIn, crafting engaging content, and helping to amplify our mission across social media platforms.
What We Offer:

Potential to get involved in other teams, such as Fundraising, Communications, or Outreach Role
Requirements:
Commitment of 2-3 hours per week on average
Experience with social media management, especially Instagram and/or LinkedIn
Experience with Canva for graphic design
Skills in content creation, online community engagement, virtual event promotion, and social media analytics are advantageous
Your Role and Responsibilities:
Manage and grow our presence on Instagram and/or LinkedIn
Create and curate engaging content that resonates with the synthetic biology community
Develop and implement strategies to increase followers and engagement
Collaborate with team leaders to ensure alignment with EUSynBioS activities and goals
Monitor social media trends and adjust strategies to stay current
Report to the Chair and Vice Chair on social media performance and community feedback
